Getting gold in Warcraft is often just a matter of time. But too often, players will grind a mob just because it is high level or that think it has good drops. These players end up losing more time and earn less gold than they could for one simple reason: to do your research.
Fortunately, we have taken the time to do it for you. Here are some of the best low to medium level mobs you can farm for gold both as possible. By using these mobs, try to choose one that has few problems to overcome. The faster you kill, the more loot drops you get. Enjoy!

LOCATION: Shimmer Ridge, Gnomeregan
LEVELS: 8 to 10, 25 +
Mobs: Frostmane Trolle, Miscellaneous
LOOT: fabric and a few drops of green drops good silver, some green and blue also.

LOCATION: West Shore, above the beach.
LEVEL: 12 to 13 mobs: Other Defias that regenerate incredibly fast.
LOOT: Copper, Duck, the vandor garbage and some vegetables. More flax (30% drop traps which other types of Defias.)

LEVEL: 20 +
Mobs: Boulderfist ogres, Whitebark Trolls
LOOT: silver, articles, and drops.
REGION: The Thousand Needles
LEVEL: 25 +
MOB: Galak Centaurs
LOOT: decent loot and fast return to spawn.
REGION: Scarlet Monastery
LOCATION: Cemetery
LEVEL: 26 to 32
MOB: spirits without restrictions
LOOT: cloth silk and silver, opportunity for Greens and even blues.
REGION: STRANGELTHORN VALE
LOCATION: Various, Minas Crystalvein
LEVEL: 34 – 44, 43 to 44
MOB: Skullsplitter Trolls, basilisks Ironjaw
LOOT: silks, silver and wildvine, fur, skin thickness and garbage provider asset.
