, Egypt has been the source of countless conspiracies, ranging from ancient lost civilizations to extraterrestrial markers. The reason for this approach is probably because Egypt is the most romantic ancient civilization, and because it is home to the mystical Pyramid of Giza, the only surviving wonder of the world old. This article describes some of the conspiracies surrounding the Sphinx and the Pyramid.
The riddle of the Sphinx
Most theories conspiracy around the Sphinx usually involve age. The Sphinx is generally accepted to be constructed near the pyramids of Giza around 2500 BC. Even accepting that the face of the Sphinx contains the statue of Khafre (Chephren), the Pharaoh during that time.
However, there was no written record of the time in relation to the Sphinx or its construction. Moreover, the human head of the Sphinx is small relative to the rest of the body, suggesting that the effigy head Pharaoh Khafre might have been carved into a lion's head bigger. Geologist Dr. Robert Schoch and author John Anthony West made a case that the marks of erosion on the Sphinx, there seems to be by wind or sand, but water like rain fall. They used evidence of other structures in the Giza area to prove his point. If this were true, the construction of the Sphinx, then may go back at least to 5000 BC, when the area still receives heavy rainfall, in contrast to desert conditions later.
In its official website, Director of the Giza Monuments offers Dr. Zahi Hawass several points indicating that the test used is wrong to test the theory of Dr. Schoch's.
Adding to the conspiracies surrounding the age of Sphinx, writers Graham Hancock and Robert Buvaul provide evidence in their book Message of the Sphinx to the creation of the Sphinx and Pyramids can be pushed date back to 10,500 a. C. from astronomical data.
Secret of the Pyramids
The pyramids of Giza have been the subject of many conspiracies in recent years. Many people believe that the pyramids are a missing link of an ancient civilization, and can still provide evidence to prove it. During the conservation process of 1993, robots are used to explore the small ventilation ducts leading from the "King's Chamber" and less "Hall of the Queen" in the Great Pyramid. An intriguing discovery was made: half of the axes of the "House of the Queen" were the "doors" with handles.
With In order to demonstrate the transparency of their work and debunk any conspiracy, Dr. Zahi Hawass decided to partner with National Geographic to explore beyond the "doors" and provide a live webcast of exploration with the outside world.
After much publicity, the expedition began, to telecast live images from around the world. During the last minute of the series, a camera was sent in a hole in the "door" shaft, revealing another "door" behind it. And that's when the show ended. Conspiracy theories started sprouting, the following questions: "What's behind the door of the 2nd, why are so sharply at the end? What are we hiding from?"
